What exactly does Pensara do?
Pensara provides educational sessions and organisational support for people managing retirement paperwork and pension documents. We help you understand what you have, what it means, and how to keep it accessible for years to come. We do not provide financial advice or investment recommendations.
Do I need to bring all my documents to the first session?
Whatever you have is a fine starting point. Many people come with a folder, a bag of envelopes, or just a few photocopies. Part of the Checklist Session is identifying what is present and what might be worth locating. You do not need to prepare anything in advance.
Who is the Pension Terms course suitable for?
The course suits anyone who receives pension statements or retirement documents and finds the language confusing. That includes people approaching retirement, those already receiving a pension, and family members who help a parent or spouse manage their affairs. No financial background is needed.
How long does each programme take?
The Checklist Session runs for around 2–3 hours. The Pension Terms course is typically delivered across two half-day sessions. The Long-Term Records Management Programme is spread over several weeks, with an initial set-up phase followed by review meetings. We adapt the pace to what suits you.
Are sessions available in Thai as well as English?
We primarily conduct sessions in English, though bilingual support can be arranged for parts of the session when needed. Please mention any language preferences when you get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate.
What happens to the information I share?
Any information you share during sessions is kept strictly private and used only to assist you with the work we are doing together. We do not pass details to third parties. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can sessions be held at my home or online?
Yes. We offer in-person sessions at our Chiang Mai office, home visits within the city, and video call sessions for those in other parts of Thailand or abroad. Let us know your preference when you book.
